Retry Fix Available

Hi Everyone,

First of all, I'm really happy with IMAP Pusher Service, except for one issue. It kept getting connection errors and crashing on me 2-3 hours after I'd start it. So I fired up Visual Studio and made a slightly less-than-elegant solution. When the program encounters this error, instead of popping a message and dying, it writes the error to the log file and spawns a new executable, IMAP Pusher Restart. This executable waits 10 seconds then launches ImapPusherService.exe again. This way the service restarts automatically if it dies during that error.

If the developers are interested in my patch, let me know and I'll send the source. If anyone is having issues and wants my updated EXEs, feel free to e-mail me via my contact page listed below. I'll gladly send them out (no warrenty provided though - I've been testing it for around a week with no issues but your mileage may vary especially if you're not getting the same specific error).

Thanks gmurray for starting this wonderful project,

Jon Westfall

I have successfully made some changes to this version to get it working for multiple IMAP accounts, by building and creating separate instances of ImapPusherService for each account as ImapPusherService1.exe, ImapPusherService2.exe, ImapPusherService3.exe each of which points to a different Settings.xml file etc and uses a separate version of ImapPusherRestart.exe. Then just paste a shortcut in the windows startup folder to each instance of ImapPusherService.exe.

Welcome to supply the executables to anyone that wants it.
